Light Ohio Blue

Krista was the lead graphic arts designer for Light Central Ohio Blue campaign for 2017. This effort was a community support effort during Police Week where fallen officers are recognized. Krista volunteered her time and talents which was reproduced on flyers, posters and billboards throughout the city as an awareness and participation effort. Her work was outstanding and led to a substantive number of residential and business involvement, where Central Ohio was blanketed in blue lights! Thank you Krista!

I hired Krista in 2011 to join a growing team of in-house marketing professionals as a graphic designer. As an employee, Krista never failed to exceed my expectations and her important contributions to our marketing and design initiatives led to her promotion to Creative Design and Print Manager. As a designer, Krista rose to every challenge presented to her, whether a tight deadline, a challenging internal project manager to deal with, or a complicated project to complete. She eagerly took on new duties as we upgraded our in-house digital printers and it became clear we needed someone not only to manage the operation of these complex machines, but also to train new designers, troubleshoot print quality and keep up with an aggressive print schedule. Krista is a talented designer who can produce fresh, contemporary, on-target print and web graphics. Krista is also a skilled photographer. She traveled with the company for training events in Mexico and Jamaica, where she photographed resorts, training events and awards banquets, and even orchestrated our first-ever large group photo! In an ever-changing, deadline-oriented team environment Krista was able to focus and produce, no matter the challenges around her. She also excelled at organization and documenting work procedures for other designers to follow. As a co-worker, Krista worked hard to maintain a positive attitude and actively contributed to department and company-wide initiatives. Krista would be a valuable contributor to any design team.
